Caldera is an interdisciplinary arts organization that provides programs for underserved youth from urban Portland and rural Central Oregon focusing on the arts and the environment. Their curriculum capitalizes on the creative process as a means of building self-confidence, nurturing artistic talents and developing an appreciation for the environment.
Our grant will underwrite the development of a formal, written and reusable environmental curriculum tailored to the unique ecology of Caldera's 90 -acre Blue Lake facility in the Central Cascades near the town of Sisters.
