The BHF grant will be a part of a collaboration between Ecotrust and the Klamath Indian Tribes. The project is focused on the printing and publication of a sustainability strategy for the ponderosa pine forests of the Klamath Indian's former reservation and the development of an innovative forest restoration management plan. The plan will address both the social and cultural values of the Tribes and the practical aspects of restoring and managing the forest and evaluating the results.
