Growing Gardens operates four programs: Home Gardens, Partner Gardens, Youth Grow and Learn & Grow. As of 2004 they have installed 316 home gardens, 35 partner and apartment gardens in North, Northeast, and Southeast Portland, reaching over 500 gardeners and over 1300 adults and children. They teach organic gardening while providing information and instruction on nutrition, health and supporting self-reliance.
