Our grant will help identify and facilitate information needed to educate anglers and low income subsistence fishermen of the dangers of the elevated levels of contaminants present in a six mile stretch of the Willamette River known as Portland Harbor. The area from the southern tip of Sauvie Island to Swan Island is part of a super fund clean up site. Five thousand multi-lingual (English, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese) flyers and brochures will be printed and distributed. Multi-lingual representatives will also facilitate.
