The mission is to promote self-sufficiency and life-long learning by nurturing personal, educational and career development of young people. YEI in collaboration with Casey Family Programs and The Inn Home for Boys in implementing a Youth Business program transitioning out of foster care. The program is designed to provide youth the opportunity to run a business from concept to implementation. Our grant provided: stipends for earning a wage while being involved in every aspect of success or failure, staff and volunteer time.
